God Wrote the Bible

Many people in the world claim that because the Bible was written by men, they cannot believe in it. They insist that the Bible is only written to help people live accordingly, and men wrote it, so they refuse to believe in it. Some countries say that it was just used to barter for land and that it is only a book written by someone. However, they are greatly mistaken:

2 Peter 1:20-21 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of men, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible contains the will of God; the true author of the Bible is God. Men were carried along by the Holy Spirit from God and wrote the words spoken by God. In one example, a rich man asked a lawyer to write his will instead of him. While the rich man spoke the contents of the will, the lawyer wrote what the rich man said. Would it mean the will is written by the lawyer or the rich man? Of course, the one writing is the lawyer but the author is the rich man, meaning the will has the wishes, instructions and words of the rich man.

Science Proves God Wrote the Bible

Romans 1:19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

God made all things on this earth simple and plain for mankind, so that through the earthly things God created, we may understand God our Creator. All systems, one being the family system, and scientific discoveries that have been discovered by scientists show how much God has written the Bible. Everything God did was already recorded in the Bible before science proved it to exist. Without science, it would be impossible to understand God’s creation which He recorded about through the Bible. Hence, God made science which proves how much the Bible is written by God.

Job 26:7 He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; He suspends the earth over nothing.

God has already prophesied that the Earth is suspended over nothing 3,500 years before men could discover it.

Job 36:27-28 He draws up the drops of water, which distill as rain to the streams; the clouds pour down their moisture and abundant showers fall on mankind.

The water cycle was first discovered in the 16th and 17th centuries by Perrault and Marriott. Evaporation, condensation, and precipitation are the three major processes of the water cycle. Job recorded these three processes precisely: “He draws up the drops of water” – Evaporation, “Distil as rain to the streams” – Condensation and precipitation.

Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the works of His hands.

It is not so much to say that we humans can never understand God’s will by our own understanding. God intervened to make it plain to us what has been and what is to come through His words that we may enter salvation.

History Proves That God Wrote the Bible

Let us look at the prophecy in Deuteronomy 18.

Deuteronomy 18:21-22 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when the message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken…

There are Prophecies that have come true, that were written in the past, proving that the Bible is a book written by God. One being in the prophecy written in the book of Daniel.

Daniel 8:20-22 “The two horned ram that you saw represents the kings of Media and Persia. The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between his eyes is the first king. The four horns that replaced the one that was broken off represent four kingdoms that will emerge from his nation but will not have the same power.”

It is recorded in the book of Daniel that the kingdoms of Media-Persia and Greece would appear after Babylon. The Bible prophesied that Greece would be divided into four kingdoms after the first king died. The first king of Greece who conquered Media-Persia was Alexander. After he had died, the four generals who were under him divided the kingdom into four and ruled over it. These four kingdoms appeared according to the prophecy recorded in the Bible. This is proof that God recorded what would happen before it happened.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed…

All chapters and verses are a combination of God’s teachings and men’s mistakes. God has recorded them to teach us who live now not to make the same mistakes. Those who did not follow the words of God were destroyed. This specifically shows God’s mercy and love for mankind to lead us to the right way through the Bible.

1 Corinthians 2:13 This is what we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.

The Bible is the Book God wrote through men. It contains the words that God spoke to save men and lead them to God. It is not so much to say that we humans can never understand God’s will by our own understanding so God intervened to make plain to us, what has been and what is to come, through His words that we may enter His kingdom. Since God made this plain to us it is not by our own thoughts that we can be saved or our own way. We ought to obey the words of God, who knows the end from the beginning. We will do right for our own good to follow the words of the Bible, which are God’s guidance for our salvation.

Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the works of His hands.

Therefore, the Bible is written by God, showing us the examples and mistakes of men in order that God can correct us and lead us to the path of salvation. As the people of God who want to be led to Heaven, one must decide their destiny, which is based on whether or not they follow the Bible written by God.
