On 28 July 2024, ASEZ members from Pretoria and Johannesburg gathered in Raslouw Centurion, Mimosa Avenue and Lochner Road for the 8156th Worldwide Clean-Up Campaign. The clean-up campaign was part of the Earth Recovery Project aimed at restoring the earth ruined by various human factors and natural disasters. ASEZ Youth Took The Lead to Clean Up Mimosa Avenue with Great Enthusiasm and Zeal
The University students of the Church of God who are part of ASEZ took action to clean up Mimosa Avenue and Lochner Road collecting a grant total of 500 bags of trash. Amazing smiles, laughter and sounds of singing never ceased while the volunteers joyfully picked up even trash kept in hidden places. These efforts were possible with the help of the Tshwane Metro which provided cleaning tools and garbage bags to the volunteers. The ASEZ volunteers expressed that their passion and zeal to clean the Raslouw area affected by illegal dumping comes from their sense of duty and responsibility which they learned through the teachings of God.

The ASEZ volunteers believe and put into action God’s word “Love your neighbour as yourself” and give love to all people through volunteer efforts that bring peace, joy and harmony to all people. ASEZ will continue to do environmental preservation efforts till Earth Recovery is complete in all parts of the world.
