The Church of God Is Zion Where the Feasts Are Celebrated

According to Lifeway Research there were 2.56 billion Christians worldwide in the middle of 2022. This indicates that numerous churches have been established around the world. However, according to the Bible there is only one Church that Christ established and that is the Church of God, which is spiritually referred to as ‘Zion’. The Bible acknowledges only those who attend Zion, the Church of God, as the true Christians. In other words, the Bible testifies that Zion, the Church of God, is the only true Church in the world. Let us confirm this fact in the Bible by confirming which Church Jesus Christ established.

Acts 20:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.

2000 years ago, Apostle Paul instructed the saints to take care of the Church which God established. What did he say the name of Church is? He called it the Church of God. Numerous churches in the world have names such as Baptist church, Lutheran church, Roman Catholic church and so on. However, the name of the Church that God Himself established is only the “Church of God”. Let us confirm this once more.

Galatians 1:1, 13 Paul, an apostle…For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it.

While the Apostle Paul practiced Judaism, he severely persecuted the Church Jesus Christ established. What did he say the name of that Church is? He called it the Church of God. After the Apostle Paul became a believer in Jesus Christ, he rebuked those who despised the Church of God.

1 Corinthians 11:22 Don’t you have homes to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God by humiliating those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? Certainly not in this matter!

On the Passover festival, the Apostle Paul reproached those who ate the Passover bread and drank the Passover wine without understanding the sacrifice of Christ. Which Church did he say they despised? The Church of God. Let us see one more testimony from the Apostle Paul regarding the Church of God.

The Church of God in Various Regions

1 Corinthians 11:1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:6 For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.

1 Corinthians 11:13 Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?

1 Corinthians 11:16 If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God.

The Apostle Paul corrected the mindset of the women in those days who did not want to practice the veil regulation for women given by Jesus Christ. At that time, which Church did the Apostle Paul say is not contentious about the regulation of Veil? He said the “churches of God”, referring to churches that belong to God which were established in various regions at that time (1 Cor 1:1-2).

Therefore, the Bible testifies that the Church that Jesus Christ Himself established and the Apostle Paul attended along with early saints is the Church of God. Then, how did Christ establish the Church of God?

The Church of God Was Bought With the Blood of Jesus

The Church Jesus Christ established cannot be recognized simply by its name, it must contain His blood. Though a church has the name ‘Church of God’, without Jesus’s blood it can never be the true Church of God. God Himself already emphasized this in the book of Acts.

Acts 20:28 …Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.

Jesus Christ clearly said that He bought the Church of God with His own blood. What does His own blood refer to?

Exodus 34:25 “Do not offer the blood of a (my sacrifice, KJV) sacrifice to me along with anything containing yeast, and do not let any of the sacrifice from the Passover Festival remain until morning.”

God Jehovah called the blood of the Passover lamb His own blood, this means that the blood of God is contained in the Passover. We can confirm it in the New Testament times.

1 Corinthians 5:7-8 … For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us keep the festival…

Who came as the reality of the Passover Lamb? God the Son, Jesus Christ. But in the Old Testament times who called the blood of the Passover lamb His own blood? It was God the Father, Jehovah. This shows us that the very same God who testified that His blood is contained in the Passover in the time of Moses is the very same God who carried out the work of salvation 2,000 years ago.

The Passover the Core of the Church of God

Luke 22:7-8 Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”

Christ directed the disciples to prepare for the Passover and He kept it with them. Let us see how they kept the Passover.

Luke 22:19-20 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

What did Jesus Christ call the Passover wine? He called it His own blood. In Acts 20:28, God said that He established His Church, the Church of God, with His own blood. And in Luke 22:20, He said the Passover wine is His own blood. Then, what does this mean? When God said He bought the Church of God with His own blood, He was speaking of the Passover which contains His blood. God established the Church of God with the Passover as its core.

Only the Church that keeps the Passover is the true Church of God that Jesus Christ established. However, although there are over 2.56 billion Christians in the world, the majority of them do not celebrate the Passover, which is clear evidence that those churches were not established by God. Since there is the true Church that Jesus Christ established, we must discern which one it is among so many, and we can identify it through the Passover. Only which Church celebrates the Passover of the New Covenant? It is Zion, the Church of God. Then, why is the Church of God called Zion? Let us look at the Bible testimonies regarding this.

Zion Where the Feasts Are Celebrated

Some may wonder why the Church of God is called Zion. The Bible clearly reveals that it is because Zion is the Church where the Feasts of God are celebrated. Among numerous churches in the world, it is only the Church of God that keeps all the appointed Feasts of God written in the Bible. The book of Isaiah affirms it as follows.

Isaiah 33:20 Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.

The Bible testifies that Zion is the place where the Feasts of God are celebrated. In other words, Zion is the Church that celebrates the appointed Feasts of God. Then, what are the appointed Feasts of God?

The Feasts of God in the Old Testament Times

Leviticus 23:1-3 The Lord said to Moses… ‘These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies…the seventh day…is a sabbath to the Lord.

Leviticus 23:5-6 The Lord’s Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. On the fifteenth day of that month the Lord’s Festival of Unleavened Bread begins…

Leviticus 23:10-11 …bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest. He is to wave the sheaf before the Lord so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.

Leviticus 23:15-16 “‘From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks. Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the Lord.

Leviticus 23:23-24 ‘On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts.

Leviticus 23:27-28 “The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement…

Leviticus 23:33-34 “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the Lord’s Festival of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days.

The book of Leviticus 23 clearly lists all the Feasts of God from the first Feast of the Sabbath a weekly feast to the Seven Feasts which are to be kept once a year and are grouped into three categories. These Seven Feasts are called the Seven Feasts in Three times. The Seven annual Feasts are the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the first category. The Day of First fruits and the Feast of Weeks in the second category. The Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles in the third category. Many churches only claim to keep these appointed Feasts of God however, they do not keep them at their appointed time (Lev 23:4). Others keep them according to the Old Testament law and some do not keep them at all. However, these appointed Feasts of God must surely be kept according to the New Testament law Jesus Christ established (Jer 31:31, Luk 22:20).

The Feasts of God in the New Testament

Then what about Zion, the Church of God established by Jesus Christ and attended by the Apostles, did they keep the Feasts of God, the weekly Feast of the Sabbath and the Seven annual Feasts grouped into three times a year?

Luke 4:14, 16 Jesus returned to Galilee…He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read…

Acts 18:1, 4 After this, Paul left Athens…Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.

Matthew 26:17 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”

1 Corinthians 5:7-8 …For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us keep the festival…

Acts 20:6 …But we sailed from Philippi after the Festival of Unleavened Bread

Luke 24:6, 30 …he has risen…When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them.

Acts 20:7 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread…

Acts 2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

John 7:2 But when the Jewish Festival of Tabernacles was near.

The above is evidence to show that in Zion, the Church of God established by Jesus Christ at His First Coming 2,000 years ago, the Sabbath day was kept, the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Day of First fruits which is the Resurrection Day in the New Testament times and the Feast of Weeks which is called the Pentecost in the New Testament were kept. Remembering that in Old Testament times, the Feast of Tabernacles was grouped together with the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, we must realize that if there is a record of Jesus Christ and the Apostles keeping the Feast of Tabernacles—the third feast in the third category among the Seven annual Feasts—it is evidence that they also kept the first and second feasts of the third set, which are the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement.

Abolishment of the Feasts

Now what do all these things show us? This is to show that the Church of God is truly Zion the Church where the Feasts of God are celebrated and the only One bought with the blood of God by keeping the Passover. However, according to Daniel 7:25, the devil changed the set times and laws of God after the time of the Apostles and made fabricated laws similar to the laws of God. Satan abolished the Sabbath in 321 AD. and replaced it with Sunday service day dedicated to the sun-god. He abolished Passover in 325 AD and replaced it with Easter the pagan festival of fertility. Moreover, in 354 AD he changed Christmas the birthday of the sun-god into the birthday of Jesus Christ though the date of the birth of Jesus Christ was never stated in the Bible.

Satan Spread Lawlessness and Idols in the Churches

After this deception, Satan brought in several idols which God clearly forbade (Exo 20:4-6) such as the cross and placed it inside the church from 431 AD and later placed it on top of the church in 568 AD. In addition, Satan influenced the churches to accept the mother and child worship of Babylon by worshiping the statue of Mary and the baby Jesus. Besides these, there is much more lawlessness practiced by many churches which are like the sand on the seashore.

Can we receive salvation in a church that practices lawlessness? Never. The book of Matthew 7:21-23 already showed that the end result of those who practice lawlessness is the punishment of hell. Therefore, in order for us to receive salvation and enter the Kingdom of Heaven we must go to the only true and authentic Church keeping the laws of God in these last days, which is Zion, the Church of God. This is why the Bible already prophesied that the Law would go out from Zion in the last days (Mic 4:1-2). And this is the reason why God calls all people who are in the countless churches practicing lawlessness around the world to come to only one Church, Zion, the Church of God.

The Spirit and the Bride Say Come to Zion, the Church of God and Receive Salvation

Over the years, Satan the devil, abolished the Feasts of God and no one could keep the true laws of God. Zion, the only place where the Feasts of God are celebrated was completely ruined when the Feasts were destroyed. Then, in these last days who appeared with the light of the Truth of the New Covenant Passover, Sabbath day, Veil regulation for women, all the Seven Feasts in three times and restored Zion which was demolished by rebuilding it with His own blood? He is Christ Ahnsahnghong. Christ Ahnsahnghong is God and Christ who has appeared a Second time to rebuild Zion with the Feasts He gave us 2,000 years ago. This is why in the book of Isaiah 25:9, it says surely this is our God, we trusted in Him and He saved us. As God our Father appeared even a Second time to save us, we must surely go to Him by attending the Church where He dwells, that is Zion, the Church of God.

Surprisingly, our Father did not come alone. He appeared with His Bride, our Mother.

The Bride the Wife of the Lamb

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

The Spirit and the Bride are calling all those who are thirsty to come and receive the water of life. The Spirit according to the Trinity is God the Father, then who is the Bride appearing with the Lamb?

Revelation 21:9 … “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

The Bride in Revelation 22: 17 is the Wife of the Lamb. The Lamb according to John 1:29 is Jesus Christ. This means the Bride is the Wife of Jesus Christ who is God our Father in nature. Then, what is the name of the Wife of Christ?

Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

The previous verse revealed that the Bride is the Wife of the Lamb, then in verse 10 She is called Heavenly Jerusalem. This is not the physical city of Jerusalem in Israel but the Heavenly Jerusalem representing the Bride, the Wife of the Lamb. In the same way that Jesus Christ is represented by a Lamb, the Bride is represented by the Holy City Heavenly Jerusalem. Then, who is the Bride the Wife of our Father to us?

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

The word ‘above’ refers to Heaven therefore, the Apostle Paul who wrote the book of Galatians was speaking about the Heavenly Jerusalem. Who is Heavenly Jerusalem? She is our Mother. The Bible reveals that we have our Father in Heaven (Mat 6:9) and it also reveals that we have our Mother in Heaven (Gal 4:26). We have both a Father and a Mother in Heaven. As parents naturally want to protect their children from danger, so our spiritual Parents, God the Father and God the Mother want to protect us from the punishment of hell brought by keeping lawlessness made by the devil. Our Heavenly Parents are saying “Come” (Rev 22:17). Where are They calling us to? This must be the place where They dwell.

Where Can We Find God Our Father and God Our Mother?

Psalms 132:13-14 For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling, saying, “This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.

Among so many churches in the world, which Church did God choose as a resting place forever? It is Zion, the Church of God. Since the Laws of God are in Zion, it is only natural that we find God there. As the Laws of God, the Feasts of the New Covenant are not found in the countless churches scattered around the world, we cannot find God the Mother there. Only where can we find the Bride, the Wife of the Holy Spirit our Father? Only in Zion, the Church of God.

Isaiah 33:20 Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.

In The Church of God, Zion where the Feasts of God are celebrated whom will our eyes see? Our eyes will see Jerusalem. Who is Jerusalem? She is our Mother (Gal 4:26). On this earth, it is a mother’s role to give life to her children. In the same way, it is our Heavenly Mother’s role to give Eternal life to our souls. And since our Spiritual Mother is only in Zion, the Church of God, the Bible already prophesied that eternal life would come from Zion in the last days (Ps 133:1-3). In a world where the majority of people are practicing lawlessness, being unaware that God the Father Christ Ahnsahnghong has already come and that Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem is with us, people are heading for eternal destruction without even knowing it. If we do not meet God the Father and God the Mother while living in this world and keep the lawlessness, we will not escape the last disaster, when this earth is destroyed by fire.

Flee to Zion, the Church of God Where God the Father and God the Mother Are Before Destruction of the Earth by Fire

Isaiah 24:3-6 The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered. The Lord has spoken this word. The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the heavens languish with the earth. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore, earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.

This whole world will be destroyed by fire because people broke the everlasting covenant established with the blood of Christ (Heb 13:20) that is the New Covenant Passover (Lk 22:7-8, 19-20). Then, where must we go to keep the laws of God and escape the last judgement by fire?

Jeremiah 4:5-6 “Announce in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem and say: ‘Sound the trumpet throughout the land!’ Cry aloud and say: ‘Gather together! Let us flee to the fortified cities!’ Raise the signal to go to Zion! Flee for safety without delay! For I am bringing disaster from the north, even terrible destruction.”

To escape the last impending disaster by receiving God the Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother New Jerusalem and keep the New Covenant Feasts that They have restored, we must flee to Zion. Zion, the Church of God is the only place where we can find salvation. This is why when speaking of the numerous churches existing in the world today, God said with an earnest voice “Come out of her, my people” (Rev 18:4). Let us hear the earnest voice of God the Father and God the Mother, the Spirit and The Bride who are saying “Come” and quickly flee to Zion, the Church of God without delay.
