The Worldwide Blood Drive Saving Lives with the Love of the Passover

In a world where love has grown cold and most people have grown to be individualistic and look out for their own good, it is hard to find anyone who would be willing to sacrifice themselves for another person. However, the members of the Church of God have broken the norm by loving their neighbors more than themselves practicing the teachings of God.

Matthew 22:39… ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

God taught us to love our neighbors as much as we love ourselves, practicing this teaching of God the Church of God members make efforts to give love to their neighbors through volunteer activities. This is an example that was set by God . Not only did God do good deeds to give an example to His children but He also laid down His lives to save the souls of His children.

John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

God laid down His lives to save His children. Then, how did He lay down His life?

Redemption through the Passover

Matthew 26:17…“Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”

Matthew 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body. ”Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

On the night of the Passover, Jesus Christ took the Passover bread and said that it is His flesh and He testified that the Passover wine is His blood poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Christ came to the earth in the flesh to save all mankind through the Passover. Moreover, He even gave His own life so that all mankind may live forever in Heaven.

John 6:53-54 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

Although all mankind sinned against God, God still offered His blood to save us. Though we are undeserving of it God forgave our sins and gave us eternal life by giving us His precious blood through the Passover of the New Covenant. In addition, God said that as much as God has loved us we must love one another (John 13:34.) In order to fulfill this command of God the Church of God members preach the Passover to many people and share Passover love by sharing their blood with others through blood donation. For this heartfelt work the Church of God has received various awards across the globe.
