Where Do Our Souls Come From

The Lost Souls

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.

All human beings living on this earth are the fallen angels from Heaven, the lost souls from Heaven who have put on flesh losing all the heavenly memories and have been confined to time and space. Such souls are living aimlessly on this earth without knowing who they were before they came to the earth.

Where were we before we came to this Earth?

Proverbs 8:22-30 The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old; I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began. When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before he made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world… “

Before the world was created, the writer of the book of Proverbs said he was there. It means that he existed before God created this earth. He was not on this earth, nor could he have been in the flesh. Where was he then? He was in Heaven with God living as an angel. Let us look at the case of Job.

Job 38:1-4 Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said …” where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me if you understand.”

Here, God spoke to Job asking him where he was when God laid the earth’s foundation, at that time Job had no clue regarding his previous life. God gave the answer as follows.

Job 38:21 “Surely you know, for you were already born, for you have lived so many years.”

God enlightened Job that he already lived many years before he came down to this earth. God wanted to show Job that he already existed as an angel before God created the earth. Likewise, all hum beings living on this earth had preexisted in their original form before living on this earth. We lived in Heaven with God as spiritual beings.

Why are we the Lost Souls from Heaven?

Ezekiel 28:11-17 The word of the LORD came to me:” Son of Man, take up lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him:’ This is what the Sovereign LORD says:’ You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones… Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So, I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.’”

The king of Tyre became corrupted on account of his overflowing splendor, he sinned and was eventually driven out. Though he was in a prominent position in heaven he was thrown to the earth. Not only him but all men living on this earth we sinned in heaven and were driven out (Rev 12:9.)

Is there a way to Return?

When we are forgiven of our sins that we committed in Heaven, the lost souls from Heaven can return. Then, how can we be forgiven?

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

Through the precious Blood of God given through the New Covenant Passover, God has allowed the opportunity to return. And in the gospel of Matthew God clearly showed how we can receive His blood of Redemption.

Matthew 26:17-19 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

Jesus Christ directed His disciples to prepare for the Passover, let us see how they kept it.

Matthew 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

On the day of Passover, Jesus Christ gave the Passover wine to His disciples and said it is His blood which is poured out for the forgiveness of sins. Through this, God was showing us the way through which we can go back to our spiritual home the Kingdom of Heaven by celebrating the New Covenant Passover. God saves us His people through the New Covenant established by His holy sacrifice. In the New Covenant Passover, we are freed from this sinful world and our souls return to the Kingdom of God.
